Story Sharing | May 4th
Thursday, May 4th, 6:30pm - 8:30pm
In this introductory workshop, we will begin with a 10 minute mindfulness practice and brief introductions, followed by an invitation to share a story with a prompt: “new beginnings” - about a time in your or someone else’s life when something new began or a second chance was given. The story can be real or imagined. We will share the stories with each other in a small group of up to 10 people, and offer reflections of what we appreciated about the story or how it touched us on a personal level.
* We will not critique or evaluate the stories, rather focusing on the meaning and the teller’s experience, listening and sharing from the heart. If you like your experience - you can sign up for a 6-week workshop that starts on June 1st.
All participation is optional and voluntary, you are welcome to share or to just be present and listen and/or reflect.
