Art of Relating | September 24th
Come and experience deep connection that is possible when we go beyond words - with art, movement, and spoken word. In this experiential circle we will practice the art of authentic & creative self-expression, deep listening, and heart-centered relating.
We will gather to connect with ourselves and each other in a spirit of openness, curiosity, and care. Through guided self-reflection, and creative activities, we will explore the following questions:
How can we express our true selves while attuning to others?
How do we listen deeply beyond words - for meaning, emotions, needs?
What does it mean to "relate" authentically? How can we co-create connections that allow our unique spirits to shine?
Our time together will involve personal sharing as well as interactive exercises to tap into our aliveness, empathy, and inspiration. We'll play with different modes of expression to unlock our creative flow.
Rather than discussing relationships in theory, we will practice relating here and now, in this circle, with open hearts and minds. We will support each other in cultivating direct, vibrant, and nurturing ways of connecting.
This is an opportunity to make new connections with people who wish to befriend each other just as we are, and to create a culture beyond the scaffolding that we built in the past to fit in or belong. It’s an invitation to a heartfelt revolution of spirit.
No prior experience is required, just a willingness to be real, share authentically, and participate compassionately. This workshop is for anyone yearning for deeper, more alive relationships with themselves, loved ones, friends, colleagues, and communities.
Space is limited to 12 people cultivate an intimate, safe atmosphere. Please bring a journal, water, and wear comfortable clothes. We look forward to relating with you!
The past workshops sold out, and we recommend singing up in advance. We plan to host this event every 2nd Monday of the month.
